Éditions Modulation
I chose to build the visual identity of this music publishing house, located in a traditional canut house on the Croix-Rousse plateau in Lyon, around the history and unique character of the neighborhood, thus affirming the publisher’s strong connection to its local roots. The logo is directly inspired by the famous Cour des Voraces, a landmark of Lyon’s heritage, renowned for its striking architecture and the creative energy characteristic of the Croix-Rousse slopes.
This reference to the architectural heritage, and more broadly to the traboules that wind through the city, evokes the idea of passage and exchange, an invitation to move between different musical realms, driven by a commitment to fostering artistic discovery and transmission.
The graphic identity extends gracefully to business cards and music score covers, ensuring coherence and an elegant presence across all materials.
